Michael Lau, PhD., is a licensed psychologist trained in the specialty of counseling psychology whose clinical and psychotherapy experience have encompassed a number of settings including community mental health agencies, schools, and college counseling centers.

He first came to the United States to study—and stayed. He juggles being part of two minorities, Asian and gay, but doesn’t limit his practice: “I am a generalist. There are common themes that cut across all sorts of problems.”
